Christmas Play Practice

Westside is planning a Christmas program and Douglas attended his first practice today. He is joining other 3-5 year olds in an angel choir. His part includes a part of a song and a spoken line that he needs to memorize. Today, we were practicing his line and I would ask him "Douglas, what do the angels say?" to which he'd respond, "Glory to God in the highest. Peace on earth." What a smart cookie!

So, tonight I was quizzing him again and asked him "what do angels say?" and he remembered his line perfectly. He then paused and said, "Mommy's turn. What do COWS say?"

If you want to see him and the other kids in the play, mark your calendar for the following (there is a chance that Claire might be baby Jesus, if the petite girl who is playing Mary can lift the baby):
