NOW they smile!

Last night, I took the kids to Picture People to get some photos taken. Douglas is now 4 and Claire is 6 months and I thought this needed documenting. Tony was helping out with a kitchen remodel at the Stumps, so I was flying solo. We got them all dressed up, which wasn't without its own battles, and headed to the mall.
Sadly, I couldn't get these kids to smile seriously no matter what I did. You can see some of the sad attempts here (sorry for the picture size, but those are the only "downloadable" ones that I have).

So, in the nice light this morning I got out my camera and snapped a few shots. And, wouldn't you know...she smiled! Tony thinks it is because he was there. Hmmm...

Before I sign off, I thought I'd give you a few more additions to Douglas' Dictionary.

Check: verb, look at this. As in, "Mommy, check my new toy."

Last Morning: noun, yesterday. As in, "Mommy, I already wore these jammies last morning."

Park: verb, what happens when you temporarily stop something. As in, "Mommy, can you park the CD?"
