We are so thankful for our extended family this holiday season. We were among 17 that feasted at the table of Tony's aunt and uncle (George and Cari or Derwin and Carolene, depending on who is calling). The food and visiting, and relaxing, was just what we needed. Douglas and Claire were so excited to play with their grandchildren (pictured here) and to have throwing competitions with discarded oranges from the adjacent orange groves.Doug and Barbara came back with us and will be spending a few days. We took them to church this morning and toured them around the neighborhood on a bike ride today. Keep Claire in your prayers as she is fighting a fever (tonsilitis we fear).
