Douglas is on a 3x3 kindergarten soccer team this year. The team includes many of his classmates and is coached by one of our neighbors. I think it will be a lot of fun for him. He gets a real uniform and a team name - the Firecrackers!
I went to a game this week and found it amusing and fun. The clock is kept loosely. The rules are enforced loosely. The kids alternate between ganging up around the ball, all six of them kicking, to wandering and running around the field randomly.
I thought this picture, pretty much summed up the game for me. They all did a good job and are learning great skills in soccer, teamwork, and following directions...yet it is still fun to watch the game upside down from the bench.
