Punkin Patch

This post is a little out-of-sequence, but I wanted to share these photos of our trip to the Lakeside Pumpkin Patch in North Plains, Ore. They had boat rides, pony rides, hay to jump in, trains to ride on and even a petting zoo. Caitlin Walters went with us. Once we were done with the "loop," Douglas suggested that we do it all again!

We bought three small pumpkins that day. Douglas asked me to "open them." I didn't want to dig out real jack-o-lanterns, so instead I drew faces on them with a Sharpie. Douglas named them "Larry-Boy Pumpkin", "Bob Tomatoe Pumpkin", and "Junior Pumpkin" (you might have to be a Veggie Tales fan to understand this). He has had fun carrying them around the house, dressing them in his knight helmet, and the like.
