2 Steps!

Claire took 2 steps today! She has been "cruising" for a while, but today she got up the nerve to pick up her feet. Jogging around the block can't be too far behind.

We enjoyed a fun 4th of July and hope you had a great holiday, too. We went to a pancake breakfast with the families from the "couples class" at Penninsula Bible Church at a park. We played games like "marshmallow chop stick relay" and the water balloon toss. Although they wouldn't cooperate for a picture (what else is new), they seemed to have a good time. It was hot and Douglas and Daddy went to the pool to cool off. By the time evening rolled around, we were beat and headed back to the apartment and caught some fireworks on TV (nearly lifesize).

It was strange to have a day off in the middle of the week. Today felt like another Monday! Sort of an appetizer for the real weekend!
