One Jam-Packed Saturday

Saturday was a BIG day! We had started off the at the Cedar Hills Farmer's Market where we got our faces painted and balloon animals created. Then, back in the car, to fight over the balloon animals on the way to Conestoga Truck Day. This community event featured large-scale trucks of all varieties (buses, moving vans, street vehicles, firetrucks, cranes, etc). Audrey got to go up in the turret of a police SWAT team vehicle and managed to turn on the engine of the bus (which got the attention of the driver who was standing outside). Douglas liked the cockpit of the crane. Loads of fun! Then back through the drive-through of McDonalds and then naptime. Later that afternoon, Nanny and Poppy came over and Rebecca was home again. Audrey dressed up in all the fun hair things she had gotten from Aunt Linda Gayle (putting them all up her arms like wrist corsages) and went into the backyard for a photoshoot. Douglas wanted to be part of the action, but wasn't so sure about getting squeezed as you can see.
